... A big thank you for those of you that participated in the 2019 Fire Protection Engineering Compensation Survey, for those who have not, we are seeking your participation! We encourage you to take 15 minutes to participate. Greater participation for this project will allow us to provide the most accurate report of current salary data for the fire protection engineering profession.

Following the close of the survey, the data will be compiled. For participating in the survey, you will receive a complimentary electronic copy of the 2019 Fire Protection Engineering Compensation & Benefits Report. SFPE members who do not participate will be able to purchase the results at a discounted price. The report will be available in October 2019.

It is recommended to take the survey on a computer (mobile devices may have difficulty with look up tables that provide additional information to the participant).
The survey is open to fire protection engineers and fire safety engineers throughout the world and is available here. Responses can be submitted until May 15, 2019 at 11:59 pm Eastern Time. Please share the survey link with other fire protection and fire safety engineer colleagues to help us gather as much global data as we can for the profession.

The SFPE has been conducting surveys to gather this information on compensation levels and other employment-related questions since 1976 for the fire protection industry. We look forward to this year’s results.
