Reminder: SFPE 2021 Virtual Europe Conference 24-25 March

Guten Tag et Bonjour reader reader

Following information are from SFPE Global ...

SFPE is pleased to announce that registration for the 2021 Virtual Europe Conference on Fire Safety is now open to everyone practicing in the field of fire protection and fire safety engineering.
The SFPE21 Europe Conference has been re-formatted to a virtual conference. While we hoped to be with you in person in Berlin next year, we’ve planned an exceptional and engaging event delivering the same valuable content you’ve come to expect from SFPE.
The Virtual Europe Conference on Fire Safety is taking place on 24-25 March at Central Europe Time (GMT +1). All participants will have access to the content library and presentations following the conference. You do not need to be a SFPE member to attend, but we do encourage it as members receive discounts on registration and are able to take advantage of a wide offering of other benefits throughout the year! Once a member, you can login to the member-only section of the SFPE website to access all benefits of membership.
The Conference Program Committee, co-chaired by Wojciech Wegrzynski and Karl Wallasch, has worked diligently over the last 12 months to design and deliver a comprehensive, educational program highlighting the topics and trends facing the European fire safety engineering community. The speakers selected by the committee represent the leading subject-matter experts in the fire safety engineering industry globally.
Speakers from Switzerland are:
  • Eric Tonicello: Thermal Actions for Structural Analysis of Existing Buildings: Case Study and Developments
  • Oliver Burnier: Fêtes des Vignerons 2019. A Comparison Between Simulations and Reality During the Evacuation of 22-500 People
  • Prof. Andrea Frangi: Timber Fire Engineering: Past, Present, and Future
  • Gianluca De Sanctis: A Semi-Probabilistic Design Framework for PB Evacuation Analysis in Fire
Visit the conference website for full details and updates. We look forward to “seeing” you this March!
